The aim of this training course is to provide you with up-to-date, conceptual and practical insight into the structure and content of DAMA-DMBoK2, enabling you to keep control of the ever-increasing amount of data, information requests and regulations concerning data management and use.

Approach
The training covers all disciplines as identified by the international standard DAMA-DMBoK2. The necessary knowledge is enriched with relevant and appealing (customer) cases from everyday practice and includes examples from the fields of Telecom, (Smart) Government, Healthcare, Finance and Industry.
Each Knowledge Area concludes with a practice assignment and there is plenty of room for interactivity and sharing your own questions and insights.
During the training days, we practise with interactive questionnaires to apply what we have learned immediately. The questions are representative of the CDMP exam and an excellent way to be optimally prepared for the certification.

Trainers
The training is conducted by experienced trainers who, in addition to their theoretical knowledge, have earned their spurs in consulting practice and are still involved in numerous data projects on a daily basis.
Exam & Certification
After completing the training, we will register you for the DAMA International certification exam. The CDMP Fundamentals exam consists of 11 Knowledge Areas plus 3 Topics, which are included in the exam to varying degrees.
The English-language, open book* exam was developed by DAMA International. The exam tests your knowledge of the latest version of the Data Management Body of Knowledge (DAMA-DMBoK2), plus the Topics Data Management Process, Data Ethics and Big Data.
The exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions and must be completed within 90 minutes. The minimum passing score is 60%. If English is not your native language, you will be given 20 minutes extra time. To help you prepare, practice exams will be made available for unlimited use until the exam date.
Badges & Certificates
If you pass the exam with a score of at least 60%, you will automatically receive an Associate Badge and Certificate.
If you achieve a score of more than 70%, you may be eligible for CDMP Practitioner status. In addition to 2-10 years of industry experience, practitioners must also have passed two specialist exams with a score of at least 70%.
To become a CDMP Master, you need a score of at least 80% on both the Data Management Fundamentals exam and two specialist exams. In addition, a minimum of 10 years of experience is required.

Resit
If the result is unsatisfactory, or if a higher result is desired, a resit can be requested. A resit costs £275 (excluding VAT) and can be scheduled almost immediately in consultation. There is a minimum period of 48 hours between the first attempt and a resit.
DAMA International provides the exams and keeps track of the status of certified professionals. The certification is valid for 3 years.

The DAMA-DMBoK2 book is provided to participants during the training and, in conjunction with the training, forms the basis for preparation for the exam.

*Conditions
Cancellation by Connected Data Group: Connected Data Group will make every effort to ensure that training courses take place, but reserves the right to cancel training courses at any time. Connected Data Group is not responsible for costs incurred by the client as a result of the postponement or cancellation of the training course. If a training course is cancelled by Connected Data Group, the client will be offered the option of transferring the booking to another training course or having the course fee already paid returned.
Cancellation by the client: Cancellation is possible up to 5 working days before the start of the training course, after which the full registration fee is due. No costs will be charged for cancellations up to 20 working days prior to the start of the course. In all other cases, 50% of the registration fee will be charged. Cancellations must always be made in writing. After signing, the student has a 7-day reflection period and can cancel free of charge if the training has not been taken during this period.
Settlement and invoicing: Unless otherwise agreed and stated as a payment condition, invoicing of the total amount for the training will take place after booking. Payment of the full invoice amount must be made no later than 15 working days before the start of the training. Connected Data Group reserves the right to refuse participation in the training if the invoice is not paid on time. By sending this form, you are ordering the relevant training course. A reflection period of fourteen days applies
