This is the privacy statement of Connected Data Academy, part of Connected Data Group, registered in the trade register at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK – Kamer van Koophandel) under number 69556695, on the subject of the website of Connected Data Academy .com.
Processing of the personal data happens in a way that is in accordance with the requirements of the Dutch Law ‘Wet Bescherming Persoonsgegevens (WBP) the Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (AVG)’.
Connected Data Academy processes personal data for the following purposes:
- To be able to process registrations for education, training, workshop or seminar;
- To be able to react and/or act on contact forms;
- To be able to process payments;
- To be able to perform administrative proceedings;
- To be able to offer educational support;
- To be able to improve the learning experience and/or service;
- To be able to execute activities focused on the expansion of the customer database;
- To be able to execute employment contracts;
- To be able to inform about (new) services and products and change of existing services and products, for instance via the newsletter;
- To be able to align the services on offer with the preferences of the user;
- To be able to comply with legal obligations.
In every process different data are collected, among other things: gender, first and last name, date of birth, birthplace, address, telephone number, e-mail address and other personal data that are actively provided in, for example, correspondence or with payments. In addition, we process data about the learning process, like presence, submitted assignments, results, evaluations, finished modules and issued certificates.
On the website, general visitor data are kept up for statistical analyses of visiting and watching behavior. Think of the IP-address of your computer, the time of your visit and the data that the browser sends with the visitor. We make use of Google Analytics and have not permitted Google to use the obtained information for other services.
Connected Data Academy processes only special/sensitive personal data when this is allowed freely. It concerns images (photos and videos) that can be made during the meetings on the (study)location of Connected Data Group.
In the above mentioned processes, Connected Data Academy collects data from different categories of stakeholders. These are:
- Prospective students
- Employees, including applicants
- Externals, including temporarily hired workers
- Visitors of the website
For the execution of an agreement, third parties can take care of certain parts of the service. To guarantee careful handling of personal data, agreements with these processors are contractually laid down in so-called ‘processor agreements’.
Personal data will not be rented, sold or in any other way shared with or provided to third parties. Connected Data Academy can share personal data with third parties when explicit permission has been given or if it is necessary for the execution of the agreement.
Connected Data Academy retains data no longer than necessary for the realization of the purposes for which they are collected and processed.
Relations have the opportunity to view, adjust or delete personal data at all times. Keep in mind that providing a copy of proof of identity is necessary to prevent abuse and/or fraud.
